I took nearly exactly the same trip, with many of the same stopping off points, many years ago. My first thought when I saw southeast Alaska from the air was, "I'm HOME!" Couldn't explain that overwhelming feeling then, can't now, but it still feels just as true and real! Thanks so much for sharing this!!!! Big hugs!
