Heya Patty!

i’ve JUST finished catching up all of your old entries, including linking through to your old blog. Personally, i think you are an amazing woman, with a great deal of panache and courage, who dealt with an amazing amount of grief in a fairly constructive manner. Don’t ever let anyone tell you you’re a bad person.

i’ve just gotten my new journal up, and of course, the site is down for maintenance, but i will be updating it regularly. i hope you are well, and look forward to your return, updates to your stories, and more amazing art.

Hi Patty,

Just asked a mutual friend if he had heard from you because I have been a bit concerned about your silence.

Changes experienced require periods of adjustment, not always easy to deal with as we are living them day to day, but eventually as we adjust, life will return to something more normal and familiar.

Take care of yourself, find a bright spot each day to smile about, and know you have friends that will continue to check in on you here.

Dear Patty;

I knew that there would be a reward for checking in regularly, and tonight it showed up! Welcome back!! as I said before, we’ve missed you, and suspected that something was keeping you away, but didn’t guess what. Now we know.

I do hope things smooth out for you soon, and not just because I miss your writing. I have come to be quite fond of you and miss your posts. I also miss your great stories very much. I’ll soon be able to reread them …again. I will have forgotten enough that they will seem nearly new. You have a talent at least equivalent to that of Mary Catherine Whitney and John Benson and I hope that what’s out there is not all that is. I guess I’m selfish, but I expect I have a lot of company.

Rest this week and recharge your batteries. Write when you can. It will be appreciated, and it’s ok to do it on your own schedule.
